This website replaces the original Eurocity Persons Dataset site
Until recently, this address hosted a different Eurocity Persons Dataset website: it offered the dataset, background information about the data and the recording campaign, and a detection benchmark challenge with a live leaderboard. That site has been retired and replaced by the site you are on now.
The dataset is still available
All three data packages — ECP Detection, ECP 2.5D and ECP Dense Pose — can still be downloaded here, once your access request has been approved. Accounts from the old website were not carried over, so you need to sign up again even if you were registered there before.
The benchmark challenge is archived
The detection challenge is closed: it no longer accepts submissions and no new results are evaluated. The final leaderboard of the old website is kept online as a fixed snapshot, for reference only.
Other material from the old website, such as its documentation pages and the benchmark submission tooling, is no longer hosted. Please refer to the Eurocity Persons Dataset publications for a description of the data.
Getting access works as follows
Sign up to create an account. Use your institutional email account, as the email domain is used to review your access request. Upload a proof of affiliation (PDF) in the process.
Verify your account with the instructions sent to your email.
The Eurocity Persons Dataset team gets a notification and will review your request manually. This can take up to 8 days.
Once processed, you will receive a notification. If approved, you will be able to download the Eurocity Persons Dataset dataset.
